Coyote Ridge Course
Carrollton, TX, USA

Coyote Ridge Golf Club sits in Carrollton, a northern suburb of Dallas within the sprawling Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Designed by George Williams, the course occupies land characteristic of North Texas, where gently rolling prairie terrain meets suburban development. The layout reflects the regional style of accessible daily-fee golf that emerged across the Dallas suburbs during the late twentieth-century expansion, offering area golfers a straightforward test without the dramatic elevation changes found in more rugged parts of the state. The routing works with the natural contours of the property, incorporating native grasses and stands of mature trees that provide definition and frame playing corridors. Water features appear on several holes, typical of Texas courses where irrigation ponds serve both functional and strategic purposes. The design emphasizes playability for a range of skill levels while maintaining enough length and hazard placement to challenge better players from the back tees. Coyote Ridge serves the northern Dallas golf market as a public-access facility, part of the region's robust network of daily-fee courses that accommodate the area's large and active golfing population. The club provides a straightforward golf experience focused on course conditions and pace of play rather than elaborate amenities. Its location in Carrollton places it within easy reach of both Dallas and the northern suburbs, making it a practical option for local residents and visitors staying in the area.

Played yesterday and it is extremely loud on the course from the trucks at landfill that sits beside the back 9. Has quite a bit of potential but understaffed.
Solid course, and was in good condition the times I played it. I found it to be pricey though, and you can hear Hwy 121 from most spots on the course, which isn't ideal. The restaurant was good.
