The routing moves across ridges and through draws, creating variety in hole character and presenting golfers with uneven lies and strategic decisions shaped by both the terrain and Dye's architectural features. The thin air at elevation affects ball flight, adding distance but also making shot control more challenging in the frequent winds that sweep across the foothills.
