The Club at Pelican Bay features a 27-hole Arthur Hills design situated within the master-planned Pelican Bay community in Naples, Florida. Hills completed the course in the mid-1980s as part of the broader development of this coastal residential enclave along Florida's Gulf Coast. The layout is divided into three nine-hole loops—North, South, and West—that can be combined in different 18-hole configurations, a format Hills employed at several Florida projects during this period. The routing works through relatively flat terrain characteristic of southwest Florida, with water features, native vegetation, and strategic bunkering defining the playing corridors. Hills incorporated lakes and wetland areas throughout the design, bringing water into play on numerous holes while also serving drainage and environmental functions. The Club at Pelican Bay operates as a private equity club serving residents of the Pelican Bay community and outside members. The facility includes clubhouse amenities, dining, and tennis in addition to golf.
