Brian Silva later contributed redesign work that refined the routing and strategic elements. The property features two distinct nines—the Championship Nine and The Links 9 (Blue)—that offer contrasting experiences within the same facility. The Links 9 presents a more open, windswept character than its companion course, with wider fairways and less tree definition that allows the Cape's prevailing breezes to factor into club selection and shot shaping. The routing takes advantage of the region's naturally sandy soils and modest elevation changes typical of Cape Cod terrain. Cornish, who designed or renovated hundreds of courses across New England during his long career, understood how to work with the Cape's landscape constraints and opportunities.
