Bella Collina Course
Montverde, FL, USA

Bella Collina is Central Florida's nod to the rolling hills and rugged charm of the Italian countryside, a stark contrast to the area's typically flat landscape. The course plays long and favors a strategic player who can navigate the undulating fairways and deceptive elevation changes. Designed by Sir Nick Faldo, the course presents a modern challenge with wide fairways that narrow considerably around the greens, encouraging aggressive drives tempered by careful approach shots. The layout snakes through dramatic elevation changes, a rare find in Florida, offering both breathtaking views and demanding play. Water hazards lurk subtly, testing golfers' mettle without overwhelming the overall experience. While Bella Collina has not hosted major professional championships, it offers a challenging and visually striking golfing experience. The club cultivates a close-knit community drawn to the unique aesthetic and rigorous course.

I’ve played the first few holes a couple times with my Golf mentor Todd Meena during my lessons. This is an exquisite private club. Really exceptional. Bella is now about to undergo an enormous renovation and will be closed for an entire year starting 2027. It honestly is great to begin with. I’m not sure why they’re messing with anything except for maybe just redoing the sand but they said there is repair work to be done to some of the bunkers anyhow, I hope they opened it up soon shout out to Stefan— the 19th hole makes the best salmon bowl. Shout out to Victoria and the pro shop — they have all the merch. Jim is the director of Golf. Absolute class. We really love the practice facility as well just stunningly beautiful.
Probably the coolest layout in Florida. Feels like you’ve teleported to Italy or somewhere like it. Also has to have the most elevation out of any Florida course. A bit off the beaten path near Orlando in Montverde, the entrance to the neighborhood is so well manicured and the course matches. The clubhouse can be a maze because it’s so grand and expansive. The course is super fun and definitely my favorite track to play in the state of Florida
