Bear's Best Course
Las Vegas, NV, USA

Bear's Best Las Vegas is a curated anthology of Jack Nicklaus's most inspired holes, plucked from his designs across North America and reimagined within the Mojave Desert landscape. This "best of" compilation allows golfers to experience a diverse array of challenges and aesthetics, normally requiring thousands of miles of travel. The course defies easy categorization, shifting between the rolling parkland feel of the Midwest and the strategic demands of desert golf. Generous fairways invite aggressive play, but wayward shots are quickly punished by the native scrub and strategically placed bunkers. The course often favors a right-to-left ball flight, and careful club selection is paramount given the ever-present wind. While not a tournament venue of particular note, Bear's Best provides a challenging yet accessible experience for golfers of all skill levels. The high-roller feel is amplified by the proximity to the Strip, making it a memorable stop on any Vegas golf itinerary. After your round, be sure to sample their signature Golden Bear burger; it's said to be the perfect complement to an afternoon on the links.

Golfers say this Las Vegas course delivers an interesting novelty experience, featuring recreations of 18 Jack Nicklaus signature holes from around the world. Most praise the pure fairway conditions and note several standout holes, though reviewers acknowledge the layout feels gimmicky and somewhat disjointed—a quirk they find forgivable given the Vegas setting. Some find it's a solid option for securing a weekend tee time but not worth going out of your way to play, while others appreciate the unique concept enough to recommend visiting before a rumored conversion to private status potentially closes access.

Some really great holes. Fairways are super pure. Has some gimmicks to it but thats vegas. Enjoyable round overall
Interesting concept 18 Jack Nicklaus holes recreated in the Las Vegas desert. It’s gimmicky and a little disjointed but it’s Vegas you can get away with it. Most of the people wheeling out their cash enjoy the novelty. I’ve heard it’s going private though so if you’ve want to play it the window may be closing
Fine to play if you need a weekend tee time but no reason to go out of your way
