Bay Forest Golf Course

Bay Forest Golf Course opened in 1972 as a public facility in La Porte, a community situated along Galveston Bay southeast of Houston. The course was designed by Jay Riviere, a Texas-based architect who worked extensively throughout the Gulf Coast region during the 1960s and 1970s, often creating accessible daily-fee layouts that incorporated the flat, humid terrain characteristic of the area.
