Rocky Roquemore

Rocky Roquemore is an American golf course architect with a diverse international portfolio spanning the United States, Portugal, Scotland, and the Caribbean. Born in August 1948, Roquemore established himself as both a designer and course operator, having owned and operated the Canongate Golf Clubs in the Atlanta area before their sale to Sequoia Golf LLC and later ClubCorp.

His design work includes notable courses across multiple continents. In the United States, his portfolio features Braelinn and Planterra Ridge in Peachtree City, Georgia, as well as three courses at Disney's Lake Buena Vista complex in Florida. His international projects include several highly-regarded Portuguese layouts such as Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima, and the Royal course at Vale do Lobo, along with work at Belas Clube De Campo and Quinta da Beloura near Lisbon.

Roquemore's designs demonstrate versatility across different terrain and climates, from the rolling landscapes of Georgia to resort destinations in Florida and the Algarve coast of Portugal.
