Gil Hanse

Gil Hanse, born in 1963, is an American golf course architect who has established himself as one of the profession's leading restoration and original design voices. Partnered with Jim Wagner, he earned international recognition designing the Olympic golf course in Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Games, marking golf's return to the Olympics after a 112-year absence.
