THE SHORE CLUB
🇺🇸 Cape May Court House, NJ, USA
Designed by Wayne Stiles

Wildwood at The Shore Club whispers of quiet rounds and relaxed competition, a counterpoint to the more boisterous seaside reputation of Cape May. Built in the late 20th century, the course sits on land that offers a subtle undulation, eschewing the dunes one might expect so close to the Atlantic.
Though not demanding in length, the course rewards strategic play. Its wide fairways give the impression of forgiveness, yet well-placed bunkers and subtly contoured greens punish the casual shot. The layout promotes running approach shots, testing a player's short game creativity and feel.
While not a fixture on national tournament schedules, Wildwood is the domain of local leagues and member events. It is the kind of place where the club championship carries just as much weight, and where the stories shared afterwards are as much a part of the experience as the golf itself. Many a member can be found following their round at the clubhouse's patio, savoring the day with a cold drink and the camaraderie that makes Wildwood at The Shore Club a destination for both the casual and competitive golfer alike.
Reviews
My home course. Very fun with great conditions and course always moves quickly. It’s very tight and doesn’t play long so you won’t need to hit driver on most holes so it can get repetitive
