WARWICK HILLS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Grand Blanc, MI, USA
Designed by James Harrison, Joe Lee

Warwick Hills, nestled in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, forever echoes with the roars of gallery and the echoes of legends forged during its half-century as home to the Buick Open. A classic parkland design, opened in 1957, Warwick Hills presents a traditional Midwestern golfing experience, characterized by gently rolling terrain and mature trees lining wide, inviting fairways.
Joe Lee sculpted Warwick Hills, providing a test that, while not overtly penal, rewards thoughtful play and strategic positioning. The course offers a balanced challenge, welcoming high handicaps, and at the same time a fun challenge for lower handicaps. The course is not known for having blind shots, dramatic elevation changes, or severe greens. Rather, it is the kind of course for those who enjoy and appreciate the essence of golf.
From 1958 to 2009, Warwick Hills was synonymous with the Buick Open, a PGA Tour fixture that attracted some of the biggest names in the game. Memorable moments abound, etched into the course's lore and the minds of golf fans who remember Tiger Woods' three victories at Warwick Hills, solidifying its place in Michigan golf history. Though no longer hosting a regular Tour event, Warwick Hills maintains its reputation in the region as a traditional club that reveres golf history. The club offers a traditional experience where old golf lore is still spoken about, and new lore is being made.
