VINNYLINKS GOLF COURSE
🇺🇸 Nashville, TN, USA
Designed by Donald Ross

VinnyLinks, a true Nashville original, occupies hallowed ground where generations of locals first gripped a club. Nestled in the heart of the city, its routing feels like a well-worn song on an old record – familiar, comforting, yet possessing subtle nuances that reveal themselves with each listen.
Designed in the mid-20th century, VinnyLinks is a classic parkland layout characterized by its mature tree-lined fairways and subtly contoured greens. While not overly long, the course favors those who can shape their shots and navigate the strategically placed bunkers that guard many of the greens. A slight fade off the tee here can be a distinct advantage, especially on the dogleg right par-4s that define much of the back nine.
Though never having hosted a major championship, VinnyLinks boasts a fiercely loyal membership drawn from across the city. It’s a place where deals are still sealed on the back nine and where the clubhouse chili has a reputation that extends far beyond Davidson County. Many members have claimed its the best cup of chili in the south.
Reviews
Easy play after work. Fun and casual par 3. Clearly designed for young, beginner golfers, but does not make it any less enjoyable.
