I’m not sure why this course flies under the radar or is so underrated. Some of the holes are on fairly classic linksland with hard and fast fairways and greens, it’s generally in good condition due to RACV ownership and it has some interesting green complexes. Maybe it has less of the undulating fairways of nearby Sands Torquay and some of the short holes on the back nine are just filler, but is still an excellent course. Even more of a challenge when the wind is blowing in from the sea.
