COUNTRY CLUB AT THE LEGENDS
🇺🇸 Eureka, MO, USA
Designed by Gary Kern, Robert Trent Jones Sr.

Three at Country Club at The Legends, nestled in the rolling hills west of St. Louis, began as a haven for local business titans and golf enthusiasts seeking a respite from city life. The course itself presents a modern take on a parkland layout, characterized by tree-lined fairways that demand strategic positioning rather than brute force. While generous in width, errant shots are quickly penalized by thick rough and strategically placed water hazards, rewarding calculated approaches and thoughtful club selection.
Designed initially by Gary Kern, the course has seen subtle refinements over the years, subtly enhancing its playability while preserving its fundamental character. Though not a regular stop on professional tours, Three at The Legends quietly cultivates a strong amateur golfing community.
The club exudes an understated elegance, reflected in its membership. It's a place where business deals are casually discussed over post-round drinks, and where the pursuit of a lower handicap is a shared, though never overtly competitive, passion. And, as local legend has it, more than one major business deal started on the tee box of the challenging par 4, 14th.
