The German champion worked with European Golf Design to create a layout that occupies a varied landscape between olive groves and the Ionian Sea, with the routing moving through different elevation zones and vegetation types. The course measures over 6,700 yards from the championship tees and incorporates both links-style characteristics in its more open sections and parkland elements where the holes wind through established groves.
