THE CROSSINGS AT CARLSBAD
🇺🇸 Carlsbad, CA, USA
Designed by Greg Nash

The Crossings at Carlsbad, etched into the coastal bluffs overlooking the Pacific, offers a compelling blend of links-style aesthetics and Southern California charm. Created in the early 2000s, the Greg Nash design takes full advantage of the rolling terrain, presenting golfers with panoramic ocean views and strategic challenges.
The course favors a tactical approach, where position trumps brute force. Expect undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers that demand precise shots, and prevailing coastal winds that can significantly impact club selection. Smart course management is rewarded at The Crossings, demanding players to think their way around rather than simply bomb it off the tee.
While not steeped in major championship lore, The Crossings holds a special place in the hearts of Carlsbad golfers. It’s a testament to accessible, well-maintained public golf where the challenge is honest, and the scenery unforgettable. Afterwards, the club's spacious clubhouse offers a gathering place where golfers can toast their round and take in the sunset views.
Reviews
The course is beautiful and challenging. The back 9 has some of the best views over some of the more challenging holes on the course. Would totally love to come back and give it another go.
Great value, discount for SoCal residents. Ocean views, lots of wildlife
