TEDESCO COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Marblehead, MA, USA
Designed by Skip Wogan

Tedesco Country Club, a bastion of Marblehead golf, whispers tales of presidents and bygone eras as clearly as the Atlantic breezes rolling in off the coast. Carved into the New England landscape, the course presents a deceptively gentle challenge from tee to green. Favoring a strategic, ground-game approach, Tedesco is not overly long, but demands thoughtful club selection to contend with its many blind shots and undulating fairways.
Designed by Donald Ross, Tedesco's relatively modest layout offers a classic, traditional experience. Greens are small and crowned, a reminder of Ross's enduring design philosophy. While updates to bunkers and green complexes have occurred over the years, the course remains faithful to its original character.
While not a host to major professional events, Tedesco maintains a proud tradition as a hub of competitive amateur golf within Massachusetts. Its membership, rumored to include descendants of the town’s seafaring elite, relish the club’s tight-knit community and unpretentious atmosphere.
