COLUMBIA COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Blythewood, SC, USA
Designed by Ellis Maples

Nestled within the Longleaf pines of Blythewood, South Carolina, Columbia Country Club’s Tall Pines/Lakeside courses represent a modern interpretation of Lowcountry golf. The original Lakeside course was built in the early 2000's and the Tall Pines followed soon after, each designed to test every club in a golfer’s bag. Carved from the gently rolling, wooded landscape, the courses favor strategic play over raw power, demanding thoughtful approaches on dog-legged fairways and well-guarded greens.
While Columbia Country Club hasn’t hosted national championships, its dual courses are a regular fixture on the regional amateur circuit. The club is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and robust junior golf program, fostering a love of the game in the next generation of golfers from the Palmetto State.
Beyond the course, Columbia Country Club is a community hub, centered around the game of golf. A relaxed dress code on the practice facilities and a lively post-round atmosphere in the clubhouse underscore the club's commitment to inclusivity and fun. This isn’t about stuffy tradition; it’s about enjoying good golf and good company in a beautiful South Carolina setting.
