SYCAMORE COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Ravena, NY, USA
Designed by Frank Duane

Sycamore Country Club, a mid-century haven tucked into the rolling hills just south of Albany, is a comfortable blend of accessible golf and unpretentious camaraderie. The layout, while not destined for championship lore, embodies the spirit of recreational golf played with genuine passion.
Built in the 1960s, the course showcases a traditional parkland style, winding through mature trees and featuring gently undulating greens. Its fairways are generous and forgiving, offering ample landing areas for golfers of all skill levels. Don't be fooled however, many approach shots play a bit longer up hill, and there are subtle breaks on the green to contend with.
While not a past host to major championships, Sycamore thrives as a community hub. The club sustains an active and engaged membership drawn from the surrounding Capital Region, fostering an environment where friendly competition and post-round socializing take precedence.
