South at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club

The South Course at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design situated within the master-planned community of Coto de Caza in Orange County's Saddleback Valley. Opened in the early 1980s as part of the community's development, the course reflects Jones's signature style from that era, incorporating strategic bunkering, water hazards, and elevated greens that demand precise approach play. The layout takes advantage of the rolling terrain characteristic of the foothills east of the Santa Ana Mountains.

The routing moves through a residential setting with fairways bordered by mature trees and landscaping that has matured over four decades. Coto de Caza operates as a private club serving the gated community, and the South Course is one of two eighteen-hole layouts on the property.
