Sofiedals at Malmo City Golfklubb - Sofiedals

Sofiedals serves as one of two courses operated by Malmö City Golfklubb in the Skåne region of southern Sweden, located in Oxie just outside Malmö proper. Designed by Bengt Lorichs, a Swedish architect active in the mid-to-late twentieth century, the course reflects the relatively flat topography characteristic of this agricultural corner of Scandinavia while incorporating strategic design elements typical of Swedish parkland golf.

The layout occupies terrain shaped by the region's farming heritage, with mature tree plantings and modest elevation changes providing definition to holes that might otherwise play across open ground. Lorichs's routing takes advantage of available natural features and established vegetation to create variety within the constraints of the site.
