SHELL LANDING GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Gautier, MS, USA
Designed by Davis Love III

Shell Landing, carved from the Mississippi coastline near Gautier, stands as a testament to Davis Love III's modern design philosophy. The course embraces the marshy landscape of the Gulf Coast. Its fairways, though generous, weave through strategically placed water hazards and bunkers, often challenging players with doglegs that favor a controlled fade. The layout demands thoughtful club selection and strategic positioning, rewarding those who respect the natural contours of the land.
While Shell Landing hasn't hosted major professional tournaments, its meticulously maintained greens and challenging layout have made it a popular destination for regional amateurs and locals alike. The club fosters a relaxed, community-oriented atmosphere.
Shell Landing is perhaps best known for its signature 18th hole, a par-4 that requires a daring tee shot over a marshland to reach a well-guarded green. Successfully navigating this final challenge often leads to celebratory gatherings on the clubhouse patio, where tales of near misses and triumphant birdies are shared amongst friends.
Reviews
Solid layout, good conditions
Played as part of a bachelors trip, so expectations were low but this was a great track. Definitely a great option in the Biloxi area
