Shalimar Pointe at Shalimar Pointe Golf and Country Club

Shalimar Pointe Golf and Country Club sits in the Florida Panhandle town of Shalimar, part of the greater Fort Walton Beach area along the Emerald Coast. The course was designed by Joe Finger and Ken Dye, both Texas-based architects who worked extensively across the Gulf Coast states during the latter decades of the twentieth century. Courses in this area generally play firm in summer heat and softer during the region's wetter months, with Bermuda grass surfaces standard for the climate.
