SHADOW CREEK GOLF COURSE
🇺🇸 North Las Vegas, NV, USA
Designed by Andy Banfield, Tom Fazio

Shadow Creek, born from a casino magnate’s vision, remains a mirage shimmering in the Nevada desert, a testament to lavish ambition and a golfing experience unlike any other. This is manufactured terrain, sculpted from the flat expanse of North Las Vegas into a verdant oasis defying its arid surroundings.
Designed initially by Tom Fazio, and later refined, Shadow Creek presents a parkland-style course of surprising maturity. Narrow fairways, strategically guarded by towering pines and shimmering water features, demand accuracy over brute power. Errant tee shots are swallowed whole, making even scratch golfers reconsider their approach. The course favors those who can shape the ball, rewarding calculated fades and draws around the meticulously placed hazards.
Shadow Creek gained significant attention in 2018 when it hosted "The Match: Tiger vs. Phil," a made-for-television event that further cemented its legendary status. While largely shielded from competitive play, the course's mystique has grown thanks to its exclusivity and the whispers of high-stakes games played within its boundaries, frequented by celebrities and captains of industry, solidifying its position as one of the most coveted tee times in golf.
Reviews
How a $1,250 round of golf is considered “worth it” is wild to say. But it just is. I would play here every day if I could. If I could only have one course to play forever, I would not be upset if it were here. The best golfing experience I have had. You feel like royalty for the day. By far the greatest in-land property that I have played.
Great experience, service is first class, and course is in perfect condition.
Immaculate but I felt like I was stepping on egg shells.
Shadow Creek is phenomenal! Always in great shape, caddies are awesome and the hangout is A plus as well!
It’s hard to say that a course that charges $1k+ per round is worth it, but the conditioning and the overall experience are just out of this world. The conditioning is Augusta level and the service is second to none.
When there is only 12 tee times a day pace of place will never be an issue. You call in any food you want and the kitchen will prepare it for you and have it ready at the turn. The entire experience is amazing getting picked up in a limo on the strip and driving 30ish minutes to the greenest place in all of Nevada it truly is incredible how good the conditions are in the middle of a desert. The course itself is very forgiving and very playable
