SEVEN BRIDGES GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Woodridge, IL, USA
Designed by Dick Nugent

Seven Bridges, a golf course etched into the landscape of Woodridge, Illinois, presents a modern challenge shaped by the vision of legendary architect, Dick Nugent. This is not a course of hallowed championships or legendary lore, but a testament to strategic design and demanding play.
Nugent, renowned for his ability to craft engaging layouts, sculpted Seven Bridges from rolling, parkland terrain, characterized by mature trees and strategically placed water features. Its relatively generous fairways offer a tantalizing invitation to attack, but wayward shots are quickly penalized by thick rough and hazards that protect the greens. It's a layout that subtly favors a strategic approach over brute force, rewarding thoughtful club selection and precise execution.
Seven Bridges fosters a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. While it hasn't hosted any major professional events, its reputation as a well-maintained and enjoyable course draws a loyal following from the surrounding Chicago suburbs. The club is known among its members for a familial vibe, with many social events drawing crowds and the course itself playing host to many corporate outings.
Beyond the course itself, Seven Bridges offers a complete experience, and has a reputation for the friendliest staff in the area. It's a reminder that the joy of golf resides not just in chasing low scores, but in the camaraderie and the challenge itself, best enjoyed after a brisk 18 with a cold beverage on the patio overlooking the closing hole.
Reviews
Pace and price kill this place. Back 9 is tough with the amount of water but that’s just golf. A net to swing into is the driving range, condition was fair, not great. I’d skip it
