Golf Novo Sancti Petri's Sea and Pine Trees course occupies a distinctive stretch of Andalusian coastline near Cádiz, where the layout moves between maritime dunes and inland pine forest. Severiano Ballesteros designed the course in the early 1990s during a period when the Spanish champion was establishing himself as an architect, bringing his competitive experience and strategic thinking to the routing. The course takes its name from the dual character of the property.
