🇺🇸 Somis, CA, USA
Designed by Robert Muir Graves, William Francis Bell

Saticoy, carved into the rolling hills of Somis, California, whispers tales of classic California golf. The original design, crafted in the mid-1960s, unfolds across a landscape marked by gentle undulations and strategic bunkering, a reflection of its era. While not hosting professional championships, Saticoy presents a solid test for accomplished golfers looking to experience quintessential Southern California golf.
The course demands strategic play as the layout is on the shorter side. Its design favors the thinking golfer who can properly manage their game from tee to green, plotting their way around dog legs and utilizing the slopes of the fairways to their advantage.

It is a place known for its close-knit camaraderie. The annual member-guest tournaments are fiercely competitive, yet imbued with a spirit of genuine friendship, and the club's famed taco nights are a weekly highlight.
Ultimately, Saticoy offers a warm and inviting golf experience rooted in tradition and community.
Reviews
Fast greens and nice walkable layout. Reminds me of Orinda CC in the Bay Area.
One of the hardest tracks in LA, if you’re a bit off with your approach game it’s going to be a long day. Greens can be brutal and the wind is unforgiving. Great matchplay course and a hidden gem.
