SARATOGA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Saratoga Springs, NY, USA
Designed by Roger Rulewich
Saratoga National stands as a testament to upscale golf, defying the quaint charm often associated with Saratoga Springs. Built in the early 2000's, this modern marvel, designed by architect Roger Rulewich, dramatically contrasts the region's more established, century-old courses. The inland terrain is defined by sculpted fairways, strategically placed water hazards, and meticulously maintained bentgrass greens, playing long and requiring strategic shot-making rather than raw power.
While not steeped in major championship history, Saratoga National provides an upscale golf experience. The clubhouse, a grand stone structure, sets a tone of quiet refinement, and is more about the experience than the competition.
The club embraces a modern approach to golf, and is open to the public.
Reviews
Decent track in Upstate NY. 1 mile from Saratoga Race Track so the peak season prices get ridiculous. Other than the quality of the course itself, it’s nothing too special. Maintained well but pretty average design and scenery
