The property was purchased by Seminole County in 2016 and is being redeveloped into Rolling Hills Community Park, a public recreation amenity. Established in 1926 as Sanlando Golf & Country Club and renamed Rolling Hills Golf Club in 1959, the semi-private 18-hole course occupied gently rolling terrain in Longwood's residential area. The 6,230-yard layout reflected mid-century Florida design with fairways carved through native pine and oak stands, modest elevation changes, and water hazards integrated throughout the routing.
