ROCKVILLE LINKS CLUB
🇺🇸 Rockville Centre, NY, USA
Designed by Devereux Emmet

Rockville Links Club, carved into the heart of Rockville Centre, stands as a testament to early 20th-century golf course design. Its gently rolling parkland terrain, typical of Long Island's landscape, presents a classic test that emphasizes strategic play over sheer distance.
Original architect Devereux Emmet crafted a layout where subtle contours and strategically placed bunkers dictate approach shots. While not nationally prominent, the course provides a challenging and enjoyable experience for its membership. The layout favors a thoughtful game, rewarding accuracy and course management rather than overpowering length. The course is known to have a few blind shots that are a nod to the era in which it was built.
The Rockville Links Club membership is known for its deep ties to the surrounding community, fostered over generations. In addition to golf, the club is a sought after venue for weddings and catered affairs.
Reviews
Not sure why the ratings are so bad for this place. Recent restoration in 2016ish to remove the awful work RTJ did and bring back Emmets style has been fantastic. Course is extremely short but another great Long Island test
