RIVERVIEW GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Redding, CA, USA
Designed by Ben Harmon, Douglas Nickels

Riverview Golf & Country Club, nestled along the Sacramento River near Redding, California, enjoys a celebrated, understated status as a core piece of Northern California golf. The original routing, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1964, embraces the region’s rolling foothills with wide fairways and strategic bunkering. While the course doesn't favor any particular shot shape, golfers should be prepared for undulating greens and subtle elevation changes that demand intelligent club selection.
Riverview's layout provides enough challenges to test the better players while remaining enjoyable for the club's avid membership. The course hosted the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship in 1999, a nod to its quality and playability.
The club is known locally for its familial atmosphere and strong commitment to junior golf development. It's not uncommon to see multiple generations of families enjoying the course together, further solidifying its reputation as a pillar of the Redding community. And after your round? The Riverview Grill is known for its locally sourced beef burgers, a staple that perfectly caps off a day on the links.
