Riverhill at Riverhill Country Club

Riverhill Country Club sits in the Texas Hill Country near Kerrville, approximately an hour northwest of San Antonio. The course was designed by Joe Finger in collaboration with Byron Nelson and opened in the mid-1960s. Finger, a prolific Texas-based architect, worked on numerous courses across the state during this period, while Nelson—one of golf's legendary players—lent his competitive insights to the routing and strategic elements. The partnership produced a layout that reflects both Finger's understanding of the region's terrain and Nelson's emphasis on playable yet thoughtful golf.

The course occupies rolling Hill Country topography characterized by elevation changes, native oak and juniper vegetation, and the limestone outcroppings typical of the Edwards Plateau.
