RENAISSANCE GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Haverhill, MA, USA
Designed by Brian Silva

Renaissance, nestled among the rolling hills of Haverhill, Massachusetts, is a testament to the belief that great golf can be crafted from unexpected landscapes. While not necessarily mentioned in the same breath as New England's most storied courses, its modern design, conceived in the late 1990s, offers a stern but fair test across terrain more reminiscent of inland links than traditional Bay State parkland. Expect undulating fairways, strategic bunkering, and greens that demand a creative approach - a layout that quietly challenges players of all abilities.
Architects Brian Silva and Mark Mungeam shaped Renaissance from a former gravel pit, their vision resulting in a course known for its dramatic elevation changes and reliance on natural landforms. While it may lack the pedigree of century-old clubs, Renaissance distinguishes itself with a commitment to a pure golfing experience, away from the constraints of formality.
The spirit of Renaissance extends to its membership, which is known for its unpretentious atmosphere and genuine love of the game. It's a place where weekend rounds carry just as much weight as any club championship, and where camaraderie is fostered around shared challenges on the course.
