REFLECTION BAY GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Henderson, NV, USA
Designed by Jack Nicklaus

Reflection Bay Golf Club opened in 1998 as part of the Lake Las Vegas Resort development in Henderson, Nevada, approximately 17 miles east of the Las Vegas Strip. Jack Nicklaus designed the course to take advantage of its dramatic setting along the western shore of a 320-acre artificial lake, creating a layout where water comes into play on several holes and the desert landscape frames much of the routing. The course sits at the base of the River Mountains, and the elevation changes throughout the property provide views across the lake and surrounding desert terrain.
The routing features a mix of holes that play along the lakeshore and others that move through the desert hillsides. The signature stretch includes holes that run directly beside the water, where the lake creates both visual interest and strategic challenge. Nicklaus incorporated the natural desert vegetation and rock outcroppings into the design, and the course requires players to navigate both the water hazards and the arid landscape typical of southern Nevada golf.
Reflection Bay has hosted professional events including PGA Tour and LPGA Tour competitions during the early 2000s when the Lake Las Vegas Resort was an active tournament venue. The course operates as part of the resort community and serves both resort guests and members. The facility includes practice areas and a clubhouse that overlooks the lake, consistent with the resort's Mediterranean-inspired architecture.
Reviews
If in the Vegas area reflection bay is worth a stop. Not as far off the strip as some of the top notch tracks and not as expensive as courses such as Bali and Wynn reflection bay threads the needle. Only 35 min off the strip but at times it feels like you’re in another state. Plenty of waterside holes but the best views were of the mountains on the “inland” holes. A great set of par 3s shine the brightest on this course but the par 5s might be the most fun. While $150+ a round isn’t cheap for Vegas prices it’s quite reasonable. Im not sure if this track would be on my itinerary for a Vegas golf trip but it’s a perfect course for a mid trip golf getaway while in town.
