Prairie Bluff stands as a testament to affordable, accessible golf, a public course carved from the rolling landscape of Crest Hill. While not steeped in championship lore, its modern design offers a fair test for golfers of all skill levels.
Architects carved Prairie Bluff in the late 1990's, a time of modern design. The course features strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that create interesting risk-reward scenarios. It provides a well-maintained and affordable option for everyday golfers, leagues, and outings. As such, the course has developed a loyal and dedicated following, as well as a junior golf program.
