🇺🇸 Pierson, MI, USA
Designed by Mike DeVries

Pilgrims Run, carved into the rolling landscape north of Grand Rapids, presents a stern but fair test, reflective of a Midwest golfing ethos. Designed by Bill Newcomb in the late 1990s, the course favors strategic play over brute force, winding through dense forests and across open meadows characteristic of western Michigan.
The layout is marked by significant elevation changes, rewarding thoughtful club selection and precise approaches into receptive greens. Though it’s not a fixture on any professional circuit, Pilgrims Run enjoys a strong local following. Members here value the course's playability, challenging layout, and scenic beauty.
Pilgrims Run has a rich history and devout following of loyal members. The club hosts numerous member events, but is know to have some of the best amateur players, which brings forth competitive matches and fun social gatherings.
Reviews
Fantastic. Course was pristine. You cant hear or see other holes for the most part. Even though 17 and 18 are short finishing holes, they’re still difficult. Great course.
