PEACH TREE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Marysville, CA, USA
Designed by Bob E. Baldock

Peach Tree Golf & Country Club sits in Marysville, California, in the northern Central Valley roughly forty miles north of Sacramento. The course was designed by Bob E. Baldock, a prolific California architect whose career spanned the mid-twentieth century and who designed or remodeled dozens of courses throughout the state. Baldock's work typically emphasized playability for a range of skill levels while respecting the natural terrain, and his designs often feature strategic bunkering and greens that reward thoughtful approach play.
The course occupies relatively flat terrain characteristic of the Central Valley, with mature tree-lined fairways that provide definition and frame playing corridors. Water features and bunkers shape the strategic demands on several holes, and the layout reflects the straightforward, member-friendly design philosophy common to many California country clubs built during Baldock's era. The climate in this region is warm and dry through much of the year, allowing for consistent playing conditions.
Peach Tree serves as a traditional private country club for the Marysville community, offering a full range of social and recreational amenities alongside golf. The club functions as a gathering place for local families and provides a venue for regional amateur competitions. The course represents a typical example of mid-century California golf architecture, designed to serve its membership with honest, enjoyable golf rather than to challenge touring professionals or pursue national rankings.
Reviews
A faded beauty in a dying town. Hidden gem literally on the outskirts of Marysville towards the fruit orchards Peach Tree is surrounded by a big hedge and feels like you’re in a different world. Facilities are dated and it’s not. Early as private as it once was but the course is fantastic. Routed through some river bed lowlands it’s has very nice ground movement it is in fantastic shape and has some really good golf holes. One of my favorite Sacramento Valley golf courses. I’m very nostalgic about this course and never say no to a round here. Nsont let the pics scare you it was winter and the Bermuda was dormant. Designed by prolific CA architect Bob Baldock it’s one of his best
