The course was designed by Roy Case with involvement from Dusenberry Design, reflecting the practical approach to Florida golf architecture common in the region's residential communities during the latter half of the twentieth century. The layout serves a membership drawn primarily from the surrounding neighborhoods and seasonal residents who spend winter months in South Florida. The routing works through relatively flat terrain typical of coastal Florida, with fairways framed by mature tropical vegetation including palms, live oaks, and native pines. Water features appear on multiple holes, a characteristic element of golf courses built in this low-lying landscape where retention ponds serve both aesthetic and drainage functions. Bunkers are positioned to define landing areas and guard greens, which vary in size and contour to provide strategic interest across the eighteen holes. The club operates as a private facility with amenities that include dining and social spaces for members. Palm Beach Gardens itself developed into one of Florida's larger municipalities and hosts several golf courses, including PGA National Resort nearby, which has brought professional tournament golf to the area. The club maintains its course for year-round play, with Bermuda grass surfaces suited to the subtropical climate and the demands of both resident and seasonal membership.
