Omaha Country Club isn't just a course; it's a tapestry woven with decades of championship golf and Midwest hospitality. Located in the heart of Omaha, the course's enduring legacy rests on its demanding layout and the tight-knit community it fosters.
Designed in the early 20th century, the course bears the hallmark of Golden Age architecture, later refined by thoughtful renovations. Fairways wind through gently rolling terrain, challenging golfers with strategic bunkering and subtly contoured greens. The course favors players who can shape the ball, demanding both power and finesse in equal measure. Locals know to respect the subtle breaks on the greens, a testament to the course's nuanced design.
While not a regular stop on the professional circuit, Omaha Country Club hosted the 2013 U.S. Senior Open, showcasing its ability to test even the most seasoned players. The membership reflects a blend of Omaha's business and community leaders, creating an environment where golf is enjoyed alongside meaningful connections.
Reviews
Omaha CC is a grand Golf Course. A ton of up and down rolling hills with bunker protected greens. You gotta hit fairways cause the rough is lush and difficult. If you’re ball striking is off, you’re in for a tough day. Really good routing and property.
Lots of elevation changes
