Olive Glenn at Olive Glenn Golf cClub

Olive Glenn Golf Club sits on the western edge of Cody, Wyoming, where the high plains meet the foothills of the Absaroka Range. Designed by Bob E. Baldock and opened in the mid-twentieth century, the course occupies rolling terrain characteristic of the region's transitional landscape between prairie and mountain country. The routing takes advantage of natural elevation changes and the open, windswept character common to courses at this altitude in northwestern Wyoming.

Baldock, a California-based architect active primarily from the 1950s through the 1970s, designed numerous courses throughout the western United States. His work typically emphasized playability for a range of skill levels while incorporating the natural landforms available. At Olive Glenn, the design reflects these principles, with holes that move across the property's contours and offer views toward the surrounding mountains when weather permits.

The course serves the Cody community and visitors to the area, many of whom come to explore nearby Yellowstone National Park and the region's western heritage sites. The climate presents a relatively short playing season, with conditions shaped by the area's high desert environment and proximity to higher elevations.
