OLDE FLORIDA GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Naples, FL, USA
Designed by Rees Jones

Olde Florida Golf Club, nestled in the heart of Vanderbilt Beach, stands as a testament to a simpler, purer vision of the game. It is a quiet sanctuary of golf.
Designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry during the late 1990s, the course blends seamlessly with its native surroundings, a deliberate homage to traditional Florida golf. The course features firm, fast fairways encouraging a ground game reminiscent of links-style play. Olde Florida asks for strategic thinking, more so than sheer length. Doglegs and subtly contoured greens reward thoughtful approaches. The course favors shot-shapers who can work the ball in both directions, and those who can find their way around the course safely, with a mix of short, medium, and long holes.
Olde Florida's understated clubhouse and relaxed atmosphere foster a sense of camaraderie among its members. The club is known for its strong member-guest events and a community feel that extends beyond the 18th green.
While not host to major championships, Olde Florida quietly holds a place of respect within the region. It is a place where the spirit of classic golf endures, undisturbed by the clamor of modern competition. It is a course of tradition and class.
