PALM AIRE COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 Pompano Beach, FL, USA
Designed by George Fazio, Tom Fazio

Oaks at Palm Aire Country Club represents a classic South Florida golfing experience, a testament to the region's enduring appeal for the sport. Originally conceived in the late 1960s, the course meanders through a landscape sculpted from what was once largely undeveloped Broward County. This is traditional parkland golf, defined by its mature palm trees and strategic water hazards, demanding thoughtful course management over raw power.
While the identity of the original architect remains somewhat obscured by time and incomplete records, the design embodies the shot-making values prized during that era. Oaks presents a fair test, with subtle doglegs and well-placed bunkers that reward careful planning. It’s a course that encourages a ground game, where shaping shots and controlling distance are essential for scoring well, especially given the ever-present breezes that roll across the Palm Aire community.
Palm Aire, while not a frequent host of major professional events, sustains a vibrant and active membership drawn from across the region and beyond. This is a place where community thrives around the game, fueled by friendly competition and shared love of the sport. Ask any local member and they'll tell you, "Oaks at Palm Aire is more than just golf, it's a way of life."
Reviews
Really nice little hidden gem. Very well maintained, with a lot of really nice green complexes. Used every club in the bag, a really nice challenging course. Great scenery, and the staff are excellent. Hope I can get out on one of their other 2 courses this weekend!
