Architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw crafted two distinct courses at Talking Stick, Piipaash and O'odham, with O'odham characterized by its wide fairways and strategic bunkering. The generous playing surfaces encourage aggressive play, while the undulating greens demand a deft touch. Expect the wind to play a factor, especially in the afternoons, adding a layer of complexity to club selection and strategy. While not a regular stop on the professional tour schedule, O'odham provides a stern test for golfers of all abilities.
