WHITMOOR COUNTRY CLUB
🇺🇸 St. Charles, MO, USA
Designed by Karl Litten

North at Whitmoor is a course built with championship aspirations, carving a challenging, but fair, layout through the rolling hills of Weldon Spring, Missouri. Designed in the late 1980s, the course reflects a modern architectural sensibility, prioritizing strategic shot-making over brute force. The course's undulating fairways, coupled with subtly contoured greens, often require a precise approach. Whitmoor North is known for its difficult back 9 with blind shots and risk-reward par 5s to close out the round.
Gary Kern designed the original layout, later refined to address the evolving demands of the modern game. While it hasn't hosted any major professional events, Whitmoor North is a staple on the local and regional amateur circuit, known as a stern, but fair, test of golf.
The golf club at Whitmoor, including its North course, has become a hub for local golfers. Whitmoor is known for the unique combination of luxury and ease, where members can feel as comfortable playing a round as they do enjoying dinner at one of the club's restaurants. It is also known for a small community of golf trick shot artists.
