North at Teton Lakes Golf Course

The North Course at Teton Lakes Golf Course in Rexburg, Idaho, was designed by Rick Phelps and serves as one of two eighteen-hole layouts at this eastern Idaho facility. Rexburg sits in the Upper Snake River Valley, roughly thirty miles north of Idaho Falls, with the Teton Range visible to the east across the state line in Wyoming. The setting provides mountain views and a high-elevation climate typical of the Intermountain West, where the golf season runs from spring through fall.

Phelps, a regional architect active in the Northwest and Intermountain regions, routed the North Course across relatively level terrain characteristic of the Snake River Plain. The layout incorporates water features and mature tree plantings that frame holes and add strategic interest to what is otherwise gently rolling farmland topography. The course serves both local members and visitors, including students and families connected to nearby Brigham Young University–Idaho, which influences the area's demographics and community character.

Teton Lakes functions as a semi-private facility, offering public access alongside membership options.
