North at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, cradled in the rolling hills of Dade City, Florida, offers a challenging and scenic golfing experience steeped in the traditions of Florida golf. Crafted in the early 2000s, this Steve Smyers design unfolds across varied terrain featuring significant elevation changes unusual for this part of Florida. The course favors a strategic approach, rewarding thoughtful play with generous fairways on some holes and demanding accuracy on others. Natural wetlands and strategically placed bunkers require players to carefully consider club selection and shot placement. While not a major championship venue, North at Lake Jovita is known locally for its well-maintained conditions and challenging layout. A popular destination for area golfers and club members, the course is also a favorite place for the communities' thriving men's and women's golf associations and couples groups.
