North at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club

The North Course at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club occupies rolling terrain within the master-planned community of Coto de Caza in Orange County's Saddleback Valley. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed the course as part of the club's original development in the 1980s, creating a layout that works with the natural contours and canyon features characteristic of Southern California's coastal foothills. The routing moves through varied elevation changes, with several holes playing along or across natural ravines that define the property's topography.

Jones incorporated his signature design elements throughout the course, including strategically placed bunkers, multi-tiered greens, and water features that come into play on several holes. The layout emphasizes target golf, requiring players to navigate hazards and select appropriate landing areas from elevated tees.
