Norman/Nicklaus I at Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club

Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club features two distinct eighteen-hole courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus, with the Norman/Nicklaus I routing combining nine holes from each architect into a single championship layout. This configuration allows golfers to experience both design philosophies in one round, moving from Norman's front nine to Nicklaus's back nine. The course opened in the mid-2000s as part of the resort development along the Sea of Cortés coastline in the Los Cabos corridor.

The Norman nine occupies terrain closer to the ocean, incorporating views of the sea and utilizing the natural desert landscape characteristic of Baja California Sur. Norman's design approach here emphasizes strategic bunkering and wide fairways that accommodate various skill levels while rewarding precise shot placement.
