ANGEL PARK GOLF CLUB
🇺🇸 Las Vegas, NV, USA
Designed by Arnold Palmer, Ed Seay

Angel Park's Mountain Course, sculpted into the Las Vegas landscape west of downtown, captures the essence of desert target golf without forsaking playability. The layout, a late 20th-century design, navigates gently rolling terrain dotted with mature desert flora. While not a brute, Mountain's strategic bunkering and undulating greens demand thoughtful club selection and precise approach shots. The course favors those who can manage the desert winds and confidently navigate the subtly sloping surfaces, rewarding accuracy over raw power.
Designed by the Palmer Course Design Company, Mountain Course has become a staple for Vegas locals. It eschews the dramatic elevation changes often found in desert courses, instead opting for a more strategic, player-friendly experience. Water features sparingly come into play, focusing the challenge on navigating the waste areas and well-guarded greens.
Though not a championship venue, the course’s appeal lies in its accessibility and enjoyable layout. The Mountain Course stands as a testament to accessible desert golf, where strategy and precision outweigh sheer power.
Reviews
Arnold Palmer design one of the older Vegas tourist courses not built on the strip and one of the lower priced courses in comparison to more recent builds . Desert golf but not a lot of forced carries desert is on the sides. Popular course but not overly memorable.
