MORGAN CREEK GOLF CLUB
🇨🇦 Surrey, British Columbia, CA
Designed by Thomas McBroom

Morgan Creek Golf Club occupies a naturally rolling property in Surrey, British Columbia, approximately 45 kilometers southeast of Vancouver. Designed by Canadian architect Thomas McBroom and opened in the mid-1990s, the course takes advantage of the region's varied terrain, incorporating elevation changes, mature forest corridors, and several water features that come into play throughout the round. McBroom, known for his work across Canada, routed the layout to emphasize strategic options and visual interest while respecting the existing landscape.
The course measures over 7,000 yards from the championship tees and presents a parkland character typical of British Columbia's Lower Mainland. Tree-lined fairways define playing corridors, and the routing moves through different sections of the property, offering holes that climb, descend, and traverse the natural contours. Water hazards appear on multiple holes, requiring thoughtful club selection and course management. The greens feature moderate undulation and are protected by bunkers positioned to challenge approach shots.
Morgan Creek operates as a semi-private facility, hosting both member and public play. The club has developed a reputation in the regional golf community for conditioning and accessibility, serving golfers in the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver area. The clubhouse provides dining and event space that overlooks the course, and the facility includes practice areas for warming up before rounds.
